we’re trying to reach the edge
in the middle of a flame
the candle it is melting slow
unknown mathematics of life cycles

men so little in the eye of death
monstrous energy at the tongue of death
pain frees giving wings to fly
breaking the shells smoothly into the vast universe

old wine in the hour of death
silent prayers in the moments of death
end of knowledge and soulful wisdom
death connects all colours in freezing silence.
